We had arranged to go to see Laura-Jane perform at one of her gigs in London. I was a bit apprehensive as it isn’t usually my thing, but as we walked in my mind changed. Laura-Jane has an amazing voice and it adapts to different styles of music very easily. It seemed to flow so naturally, it almost seemed like she didn’t have to try.

She performed an excellent set, performing songs of all styles, ranging from theatre, to classic ballads to upbeat pop. She even took the time to learn and perform a song especially for us as she knew we were coming. It was a very enjoyable night, I can’t wait for the next time.

I heard Laura-Jane was doing a show at a local club to where I live and thought I'd pop along to see her perform. Laura performed two sets both of which were astonishly good from a professional and fun point of view. She performed a great mix of music for both young and old and managed to get her audience up dancing and wanting for more.

Well done Laura, good for you in doing something you believe in. You shall go far.

I had promised to meet a friend at a club where Laura-Jane was performing and was not looking forward to the evening as I am not one to go the theatre.

Her second set was just as good too. In fact a few people actually thought she was miming to Joss Stone!

When I first heard Laura sing a number of years ago I thought it was a record. I saw her in this production and it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I suggest you download and listen to her songs and see if they do the same for you.
