These are some of Bill’s recent successful projects:

Second tier voluntary sector alliance:

In 2008 Bill worked with 4 voluntary organisations (Adfam, The Alliance, The European Association for Treatment of Addiction and DrugScope) to plan an alliance that would give an enhanced service to government and beneficiaries. This complex piece of work had to be carried out at speed to meet Department of Health deadlines.

Drug System Change Pilots:

In early 2009, Bill worked with Essex Drug and Alcohol Partnership to produce a successful proposal for a System Change Pilot. This initiative was supported by 5 Government Departments. The Essex proposal was one of 7 selected out of 41 submitted.

Strategic management support:

Bill worked alongside a private provider of high quality rehabilitation services to improve competitiveness and reduce costs. In 2 discrete pieces of work he assisted the management team to redesign their relationships and processes and then led them in an efficiency exercise. The results have improved profitability substantially.

County Council:

Bill was commissioned to redesign referral arrangements and care pathways for clients being placed in residential homes. The redesign saved a significant amount of officer time, which was subsequently reinvested in provision of personalised services to clients with complex needs.
