Classic IPOD volume output is too low

In Settings there is an option to restrict the maximum safe volume and all the other options.

A code can be entered so that parents can set this values so that younger children do not harm their hearing.

Click Settings
Max Volume
adjust the bar
then click the centre button
press menu a few times to exit
try listening to a song and adjust the volume
