What is a search engine ? This provides you with a list of websites, a brief description of the site, a couple of lines of content and links to them, (usually underlined text), which when you can click takes you directly to the relevant page on these websites. A search Engine shows a list of websites or web pages related to keywords, subject or topic, which you enter into the search box. Examples of search Engines:- Ask Yahoo MSN UK Plus AOL Many broadband providers will supply browsers, search engines and email software but you do not need to use their software.
