Displays an error message when you try to Open Outlook, or when you move or delete emails asking you to run SCANPST Outlook repair tool

Look in C:/Program Files/Common Files/System/MSMAPI/1033/
or c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12
(2003 - The number 12 changes depending on which version of Outlook you have installed)
for scanpst.exe

If you cannot find it in these folders then ope Windows Explorer, and do a search for the SCANPST.exe

Run Scanpst.exe

Once the tool has run 7 of the 8 stages it will ask if you want a backup before any found error are repaired. I would suggest doing this in case of later problems, click repair
