Restore to factory settings

DELL COMPUTER
For about 10 years Dell PC's have an automatic method for resetting to factory settings.

XP - During startup hold down the CTRL key and tap F11
Then following the instructions

VISTA - For instructions to restore from partition and disks in Safe mode Click here

OTHER PCs
Many computers can be restored to factory settings.

A CD and/or a floppy diskette is sometimes provided with the PC.
Startup the PC using the floppy diskette or CD and follow the instructions.

Please note these actions will completely lose all your files and documents
